Life In Technicolor I & II

I'd like to hear this song while watching the sunrise one early morning. I sound like a damn book SMH.

Here's the one off the 'Viva La Vida' album and the one I'm a bit more partial to.

This is the version with lyrics. I stumbled across this one while looking for the instrumental. Funny video.

I couldn't make the video any smaller so just double click the video and watch on YouTube.

Gone Fishing

I had never checked for these dudes before I DL'ed this mixtape. The only other times I heard them was on that Rhapsody commercial, and on a Kidz in The Hall remix.

But I'm not going to lie I'm feelin' this tape. The beats are fire, and the lyrics aren't bad. Mikey Rocks(rapper) and Chuck Inglish(producer/rapper) aren't on some super lyrical steez, but they rap about stuff from the 90's and stuff in between, not the usual gun/drug talk which is a good thing IMO.

If you want to check for yourself click here.

Sneakers

I have way too many.

I used to love them but we have grown apart over the past few years.

In my prime I was buying 3-4 pairs a month.

Now, maybe 1-2 a year.

I think my disdain for what Jordan Bland(not a typo) has become was the nail in the coffin with my love of kicks.

Don't get me wrong(contradicting myself Rick James style) I still love sneakers but the passion is gone.

I can name you every Jordan by number and year released.

My love for Nikes started and ended at Nike Basketball. Although I have a few SB's And some other assorted pairs.

I cleaned out my closet a few months ago and decided to take all the kicks out the closet and put them all around the room so I can motivate myself to sell them.

It will start soon. With summer looming and some of the heat I have stashed maybe I can make some green.

I am consumed by boxes....

Sorry the pics aren't of the best quality my camera isn't too good for indoor shots. Who am I kidding I just didn't feel like messing with the settings. Enjoy anyways.

Not from Cupid

My cousin sends me a text about this and I really didn't believe it at first but...

From the AP.

NEW YORK (AP) — A woman who was hit in the stomach with an arrow on a city street said Monday she at first thought she was hit by a baseball.
The 30-inch arrow struck Denise Delgado-Brown on Sunday afternoon as she was dropping off fellow parishioners at a nursing home after church.
"I thought that maybe somebody had hit me with a baseball," the Yonkers traffic court officer told WINS radio. "It just happened so quickly. I just couldn't believe it."
A St. Barnabas Hospital spokesman said Delgado-Brown was in stable condition and would be moved from the intensive care unit Monday.
Police said the black arrow with yellow feathers was a high-performance carbon aluminum arrow used for target practice; they believed it was shot at random, possibly from a rooftop or park in the area. The arrow can potentially reach a distance of more than 300 yards, police said.
The shooter could face reckless endangerment charges if it's determined that the arrow was shot from an area where target practice is not permitted. No arrests have been made.

WOW. I can see the smoke signals from my window.
