Seriously

No words in the English language can explain the love I have for this song.

Hmmm.........

As the day ended at work today my boss approaches me and asks me if I can get him something from the store, I oblige. After 6PM all the stores in Getty Square begin to close, so all that was open was the generic hood chicken spot. I didn't feel like putting on my coat so I just rocked the skully to go across the street. I go in, purchase the items and as the cashier hands me my change I think he says in a low tone, "thank you dear." I was kind of dumbfounded and not sure that he really said that because most males don't call another man "dear", but I began to think, "I have man chesticles, and I have a ponytail," but that shouldn't constitute any gender confusion as I have a deep voice.

But I digress, it's about two in the morning(eastern time), I got my hour of Nihongo(literally Japanese) in, and I took the garbage out.

I'll just listen to a bit more of TMV and pass the fuck out.

P.S. Same song in two different posts on different days FTW!

Go New York!! Go New York!! Go New York!! Go!!

Went to my first ever Knicks game at MSG on Wednesday night. They hosted and defeated the Wizards in a good old shootout.

Here's a few pics I took.

Enjoy.

Hobby Maybe

Since I got my first digi cam back in 2005, it's become a bit of a hobby for me but not enough to go all out and purchase a real high-end DSLR camera. I've always just purchased point & shoots which are just your regular John Everyman cameras. A couple of weeks ago I started to look at "prosumer" cameras which are basically a bridge between the higher end DSLR's and your average P&S' and I found a Fujifilm camera I took interest to. Most sites I visited had it priced between $250 and $350 and I was slowly leaning towards a purchase, until I got an e-mail from ecost.com(which I get daily) that had the camera for a lowly $86.99. I couldn't pass that price up as it was way below what any other site was offering. Unfortunately with the camera at that price there had to be somewhat of a catch, it was refurbished and came with none of the accessories the full priced camera came with, which are a neck strap, a lens cover, a set of batteries, and an A/V cable. I didn't care because even if I purchase those items, the camera was still under the retail price.

Now without much further adieu I present to you my budget purchase.

Obviously taken with my other camera which is an excellent Sony P&S. That camera is great and all but it doesn't offer any manual features which was an itch I couldn't quite scratch.

Bonus shot. My favorite drinking glass. =)

Just In Case

I'm still breathing after NYE. Unfortunately, the beginning of the year means tax season is going to rear it ugly head soon. This also means I'll be juggling the task of two jobs now as I continue my aspirations of being a car technician and being not only a tax preparer but a (very young) supervisor as well.

Good luck to me.
